Good Afternoon.
It’s 2:00 PM in Bogota, Colombia and I sit in my office over looking the mountains that dominate the skyline. I’ve lost count of how many days I’ve been pulling 12 hours shifts trying to follow every lead and knock everything off my to do list.
For a couple weeks, I’ve been trying to set up this blog as I prepare to re-launch the website, so I am excited that I can add this to my list of things I accomplished today!
I plan on using this blog to share the ups and downs the successes and the challenges, the news and the trivia from Atlas Corps. This won’t be the forum for breaking news, or official statements. This is just an opportunity for people to get to know me, Scott Beale, a little better and to learn more about the vision and direction of the organization, and all the hard work that is going into make it a success.
In the future, other staff members and fellows will be able to post on the blog as well. For the next few months, however, it is just me!
I’ll generally keep my posts short, but I will try to post often. Thanks for visiting http://www.atlascorps.org/ and please do sign up for the email listserv where most of the more pressing announcments will be made.
